Welcome to Microfiction Monday, at Stony River: a writing life, where a picture paints 140 characters, or even fewer.
[Hate counting letters and spaces? Try Design 215's character counter, which will count for you as you type. Microsoft Word will count for you too, of course, as part of its word count feature under the 'Review' tab.] Here's this week's picture, and my story to go with it:
Hearing the news of the British coalition, Bess decided to send a present to Cameron from her larder. He looked like he'd like canned fruit. (140 characters)
Enjoyed that. But would it be a liberal or conservative serving?
ReplyDeleteGreat one, Michael! What would we do without politicians to provide fodder for fiction???? Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
I enjoyed your story too, very much.
ReplyDeleteSeems like the Tory's and the liberals have it all worked out across the pond.
Have a great evening.
I'd watch those Politicians, they'd take more than what they were entitled to. Great one Michael.

Now. Now. That press conference just confirmed that they WERE good friends only. And think that when Labour appoints a Milliband then all the major parties leaders will be male and pale and from the same private education and Oxbridge elite. Power to the people! My Twitter Story
ReplyDeleteohhh those politicians all over the world...if there is anything common amongst humans in the world, I reckon it'd be the politicians. lol. happy mfm...
ReplyDeleteDear me - perhaps you think Cameron should HAVE some canned fruit - prunes maybe? ;-)
