Microfiction Monday: Pumpkin Attack and A Rocky Horror Query

She didn't hear the evil pumpkin flying in behind her, but Blackie did. What could he do to make sure her Halloween didn't end with a SPLAT?


I missed last week's MM because things were entirely crazy, but can't resist. After all, better a week late than a pound foolish, don't you think?

At the Writing Conference:

The agents and editors were waiting for their costumes to arrive. Then they'd show those writers a Rocky Horror of a "query."

    AUGH!! Why didn't I see a writers' conference in that picnic?! Ooh, so envious...

    and finding a threat in that flying pumpkin is just class. Most of us ignored the poor fellow completely, but I love what you did -- in fact, you were just too good this week, and I may have to kick you out completely for it...

    ...NEVER!

    Blackie could scratch his mistress to cause her to fall to the ground and roll, causing the evil pumpkin to miss her.

    Unfortunately while the cat was trying to decide the pumpkin took his mistress's head right off her shoulders and her body flattened the cat.
